Holy prophet of Islam (p.b.u.h.)
called Hazrat Ali (p.b.u.h.) and a group of his friends to gather one evening
and to accompany him to Baghi cemetery. There, prophet prescribed: "I am
commissioned to ask God forgive the dead". Then, he stand in the cemetery and
called those of the dead who were faithful and stated: "Oh!
those who are sleeping under the soils, greetings to you. May you have a sweat
death because you are not suffering from living. The seditions have come like
the pieces of the night and have merged together, so that no beginning and no
end is clear". Then he
wished that the dead lying in Baghi were forgiven and then he announced those
who were present, that he would die soon. The time of death of the prophet was
coming gradually. He revealed to Imam Ali (p.b.u.h.) his testimony, then his
soul flied to God when Imam Ali (p.b.u.h.) was embracing him.
In the sacred religion of
Islam,
Prayers has a living
interpretation and is animated. It comes from foresight and awareness of man to
the reality that man shall need Almighty God in all his affairs and whatever he
does. When man humbly acknowledges his being a slaver of God, which manifests
his awareness of the relationship and the deep bound to that Holy Spirit, has a
special state.
Some people were asking
prophet of God (p.b.u.h.): how should we call God? Is He near to us? So that we
might call him slowly, or is He far from us, and we should shout so that He
hears us? This verse came to reply them: "Whenever
my creatures ask you about me, tell them: Indeed, I am near to them and shall
reply any prayer of anyone who prays me. So they should accept my invitation
and should be faithful to me, to be grown up".
(sura: Baghare, verse: 186).
One who prays
is loved by God so that in this verse, God has repeated seven times the phrase:
"me" to show kindness. "If my creatures ask about
me, tell them: I am
myself
near to them and whenever they call me, I will
myself
fulfill their prayers, so that they are faithful to
me
and reply to
my
invitation". Such a
passionate relation
occurs under circumstances where man likes to chant and to pray.
Praying
is accompanying and be in coordination with the whole being. According to the
verses of Quran, the whole being are always praising God "All
the creatures are obedient to Him."
(sura: Baghareh, verse: 116) and all the creatures state their needs and
demands to Him. "Whoever
lives in the skies and on the land, all demand from him their needs".
(sura: Alrahman, verse: 29). So, we ask Him to help us not stay as an
inharmonious part.
From among the messages
delivered by verse: 186, Sura: Baghare are the followings:
-
Prayers
shall be suitable wherever and whenever it might come, because God
prescribes: "I am Near to You".
-
God is
near to us, but what about us? If sometimes he is furious to us, that's
because we take part from Him, due to our sins.
-
God's
fulfillment of our wishes is permanent, but not seasonal. The words He uses
shows the resistance and durability.
-
Though
God is aware of all things, but it is our duty to pray.
-
Prayers
shall be fulfilled when they are due to faith.
-
Prayers
is a means of growth and guidance.
Holy prophet (p.b.u.h.)
has stated: "prayers
is the nucleus of worship and its theme.
1
Prayers
is a weapon for fighting by the faithful man, it makes the pillar, the base of
religion and the light of skies and the earth.
2
Indeed!
The creature does not lose three things, when he prays: or as a result of
prayers, his sins are forgiven or there is a benefit in the prayers which will
come to him soon or will be saved for him.
