*******************
Educational goal of Hazrat
Fatemeh Zahra (p.b.u.h.) among the family of prophet of God (p.b.u.h.).
This essay writes about a
lady who served as the flamed candle of prophet of God. She was the first one
who created the first point of kindness in the world of religion between herself
and her father.
Her breath was connected to that of
her father’s and her body and soul, her deeds and thoughts were the most similar
to those of prophet of God.
She was one with whose visit prophet of God would commence his first daily
program by kissing her throat and chest and in the last minutes of his social
program, before he could rest in his house, he would kiss her throat and her
chest and his act warns us to appeal prophet in
the beginning of our acts and in
the end of our acts.
Language, body, soul, and
pen of one’s thought is unable to express greatness of this lady and her role
among the people around her, but what shall not be neglected is expression of
the same two points and we shall express the same as much as possible. Though,
we are short in ability and knowledge, but the mistress of both worlds is so
distinct and grace of God is so unlimited.
Thus, expressing the
effect of presence of lady among the relatives of prophet, one should take a
look at her life. Her life could be divided into two sections:
1. Before
Marriage.
2. After Marriage.
The
period before marriage of Hazrat Zahra (p.b.u.h.):
It
begins immediately after her conception until she married her cosine, saint of
God. If Fatemeh (p.b.u.h.) was an ordinary girl, to fulfill only her duties as
an ordinary woman of Bani Hashem or Qoraysh or other Muslims, to lead a
matrimonial life, fulfilling her duties as a wife or at most education of a pure
generation, benefiting from characteristics such as brevity, chastity, piety,
God would not enjoy in her conception of the hidden power of Gabriel and
spiritual training of prophet (p.b.u.h.) and Hazrat Khadijeh Kobra (p.b.u.h.).
The
first and the most important effect on education of Hazrat Zahra (p.b.u.h.) was
on the part of her sacred parents.
40 days and nights prophet of God (p.b.u.h.) and Khadijeh Kobra (greetings of
God to her) two faithful friends and companies who would not avoid in expansion
of Islam their greatest gifts and divine sacrifices, would travail being far
from each other; but they were patient since God had ordered them to do so.
Being on fast and
worshiping God round the clock by the prophet (p.b.u.h.) in Hara cave and in the
house of Fatemeh bint Asad, make him purer and purer and made his soul ready for
formation of the fundamentals of nation and also, isolation of Khadijeh made her
more thirsty for acceptance of architecture of nation in her body and this is a
deep effect on souls and bodies of two unique human beings.
1
Following this divine
readiness, Hazrat Khadijeh (greetings of God to her) became pregnant and passed
it with difficulty. The women of Mecca and even the friends and relatives of
Khadijeh had left her and this was a punishment for her wrong selection. She
should not choose as her husband the orphan young son of Abdolmotaleb. The same
youth that made too many differences among the tribes and relatives, fathers and
sons, women and the husbands. The young man who had precipitated the 300 gods of
Mecca and invited all the people to worship the only God.
Khadijeh, was suffering
from her isolation and her embryo felt the heavy shadow of loneliness in the
womb of her mother. She brought to her parents a peace and love which could not
be described and this was
the second effect of education of the spiritual presence of the lady of both
worlds for her parents. The
master of women was speaking with her mother and was making her assured. She was
filling all the lonely moments of her mother with the light of her existence.
Following the same
association of the daughter and mother, her birth opened the eyes of Khadijeh to
seeing the four superior women in paradise (Eve, Virgin Mary, Asieh, and Kolsom).
In fact the spiritual existence of this innocent daughter of prophet (p.b.u.h.)
was a great spiritual factor for prophet and for Khadijeh who were lonely and
encouraged them to be resistant in propagation and expansion of religion and
hoping for firmness of generation of prophet and the pure tree of prophecy and
imamate.2
Existence of the lady of
Islam (p.b.u.h.) in the whole stages of growth, created the sense of security
among the family of prophet of God (p.b.u.h.). Prophet of God (p.b.u.h.)
received the news for birth of Fatemeh through sura: Kosar and knew that the
same daughter was a spring
of philosophy, mysticism, imamate, prophecy, guidance, prosperity, and finally a
rare jewel in the shell of chastity.
When the pagans called prophet ABTAR (barren) God separated from the body of His
kindness, a piece and threw it to the warm bosom of Khadijeh and the prophet and
this was itself a factor for strengthening of spirit of seeking Islam and
fighting in the way of preserving Islam.
Thus,
the greatest effect of education of
Sedigheh Kobra (p.b.u.h.) was her creation which had been promised through a
sura of Koran.
The lady of both worlds,
witnessed during the whole term of her childhood, the disturbances, insults,
revenges of pagans of Mecca, and even all the island of Arab, thus, like the
mother who is kind to his child and do not avoid sacrifice for his child, she
was a manifestation of divine characteristics. Being very sympathetic, she was
washing the face of her father from all pollutions and salved the wounded heart
of that great man.
In fact by such a behavior,
Hazrat Fatemeh (p.b.u.h.) was asking others to witness that the borders of
prophecy and imamate should be defended and he was always supporting this sacred
scope and when his sacred shoulders were cleaned of the dirt, she was in fact
playing another education role among the family of prophet of God.
3
The period after marriage
of Hazrat Zahra (p.b.u.h.):
Hazrat Fatemeh (p.b.u.h.)
after marriage played her most important education
role as a wife and mother of Imam and prophet
among the family of prophet. In fact, she, as a model Moslem woman, she
presented the best type of treating a husband, child, and supporting the prophet
(p.b.u.h.), execution of divine verses and orders of honorable prophet (p.b.u.h.)
throughout her the life.
At this sector, we express
the roles and education effects of presence of Fatemeh Zahra (p.b.u.h.) in
Islamic society and among his family and family of holy prophet (p.b.u.h.)
whether at the time of her life or after her martyrdom and later.
One of the greatest roles
of Hazrat Zahra (p.b.u.h.) was her presence in society. For example we might
refer to her presence after war of Ohod among the injured people, when she was
cleaning face of the prophet of the dust and bandage of his wounds.
4
This act of Hazrat Fatemeh
(p.b.u.h.) revived the memory of her supports of her father in Mecca and against
the offences of pagans and in fact, by this act, she taught to the women of
family of prophet of God (p.b.u.h.) a great lesson.
Thus,
assisting the last prophet of God
and the origin of divine prophecy was the point of commencement of imamate on
the land5
, creation of atmosphere of assurance, support, nursing,
lenity of the wounds imposed on the body and soul and showing the company of
family and the relatives of a Moslem with a Moslem man of the family at each
stage of life, even at war, were all the impacts of her education at this war.
If she was not taking such
an act, her daughter Zeinab (p.b.u.h.) and in a narrative, Om-e Kolsoom (p.b.u.h.)
would not instruct the lessons of nursing, sympathy, defense of scope of Imamate
at the scene of Karbala and then establishment of a secure space among the group
of captives of the family of prophet and this way, Islam would be in danger.
From the other cases
cautionary in the matrimonial life of lady of the world’s women (p.b.u.h.), her
following her husband, sympathy with him, in the whole stages of life,
limitation of expectations, keeping her chastity and those of daughters of Imam
Ali (p.b.u.h.) at home, for sympathy with him and making peace.
In making house chores she
was making her best, and even when she was dividing the works among herself and
her husband, she selected to work inside home for two reasons:
6
1.
Avoiding
any encounter with aliens.
2.
The
special attention and skill which the ladies have instinctively in making
house chores and education of the children. Hazrat Zahra’s following up her
husband and her being kind to him, was to the extent that even she was not
revealing her hunger to him, so that he might not be aware of a case he could
not fulfill. Her concealing her body wounds and the pains resulted, lack of
requesting for any ordinary materialistic case, even for removing her needs,
totally showed her education and spiritual role within her short term life and
the effects of her life on family of prophet and all the Moslem women.
This matrimonial life, had
effects on the life of lady of both worlds. If the way of life of his daughters
and the other family of prophet are observed, this
method of life is reflected in
different ways in his matrimonial life and this is a deep and spiritual lesson
of the sample mother of both worlds to this pure progeny.
The other point which
should be separately mentioned, was her severe abstinence of any encounter with
the aliens.7
House of Hazrat Zahra (p.b.u.h.) had a door to mosque of prophet of
God so that she would not pass through the people to attend Friday and public
prayers and speeches of her father. Her being interested in working at home, was
the other sing of his abstinence of aliens. Her encounter with the blind beggar
and her concealing her body and face, expressing the reason that she could see
herself the beggar and God would also observe the case, is another sign of this
case.
We read at different
sources, if the lady both worlds felt necessary to attend the society, he would
attend it accompanied by her husband, her sons, or a group of Bani Hashem women,
so that protecting herself among the men their contacts were allowed, she would
not be seen or no one could see her. Even, when she was going to Beit Alahzan
8,
she was exiting accompanied by her sons and husband and was coming back
accompanied by them. When she attended Masjed Alnabi to deliver a speech, again
she was among the women of Bani Hashem behind a curtain, so that she
9
would be far from any dirty look and express herself in a long shirt, a long
scarf, and a woolen chador. Her chador was so long that it was placed on the
earth so that her sacred feet would not be revealed. Her request from Asma and
Imam Ali (p.b.u.h.) for making a coffin so that her body would not reveal and
those prohibited to meet her, could not see her, are among the other cases the
lady of both worlds abstained from meeting those men prohibited to meet her.10
Such cases had deep effects
on her children and on all the family of prophet, while
presence of prophet wifes
at general assemblies was not a good act and she was not allowed by God to
attend such meetings, so in the event of Karbala, Zeinab Kobra (p.b.u.h.) and
the ladies of family of prophet, considered the greatest catastrophe as being
seen11
by the men prohibited to observe women, though they were all
wearing long dresses and scarves.
From the other cases
reflecting the effective role of Hazrat Sadagheh among the family of innocents
(peace by upon them) was her presence in the community; after prophet of God
passed away. When prophet left the family and they lacked his kind presence in
the world of Islam, many painful events occurred including the trick of Saghifeh,
struggle on the place the prophet should be buried, making delay in his burial,
arrest of Fadak, making fire at the door of house of Imam, injury of Fatemeh
Zahra (peace be upon her) and her child abortion, bothering Imam Ali (peace be
upon him) for making him approve them, prevention of the people of Medina in
accompanying the master of ladies at both worlds and their protesting to her
cries, the sheikhs making policies, when visiting the lady of both worlds, the
moments of her martyrdom, her washing before burial, her wrapping in the shroud,
and her burial quite lonely, the attempts made by the sheikhs and their
associates for exit of the body of prophet’s daughter, praying at her grave,
loneliness of Imam Ali (p.b.u.h.) and wrest of his government, his imprisonment,
and stop of collection of prophecy and Imamate or the government and caliph
after prophet passed away. The lady of family of prophet (p.b.u.h.) played an
education role in the society as a defender of divine verses and words of
prophet and a defender of Imamate and a base of Imamate and Prophecy, until she
was martyred, even at the costs of losing her health and her soul and the effect
of such a role has remained among the family of prophet and Imams and all her
children learned the lesson so that they would never lose Imamate and prophecy,
rights and justice. Even if they were martyred for this and would make a Karbala
or would tortured or killed at the jails of Haroon Alrashid or would be martyred
strangely at Tous or would live in the suffocating realm of Samera or would pass
the small and the great absences, waiting for the proper time to erect the flag
of divine justice.
One of the important cases
was the extraordinary kindness and respect of the father to his unique daughter.
Prophet (p.b.u.h.) was made much happy by visiting Fatemeh (p.b.u.h.) and would
be satisfied if she was satisfied. Such a respect and kindness of the father to
his daughter, served as a moral instruction to the family of prophet and the
other Muslims so that they would be kind to the family of prophet and would
observe the respect of his house. The prophet’s daughter’s being kind to his
father and wishing his visit
12
reflecting the permanent
connectivity of Imamate and prophecy,
even after death of prophet (p.b.u.h.)
is a lesson for the Muslims to pay
attention to lack of separation of prophecy from Imamate.
So, how is it possible that after prophet passed away the people disregarded the
family of Imam and offended him so much?
The cries of Zahra Marzieh
(p.b.u.h.) on his father’s death
13, her speeches and her day and
night cries after the prophet passed away, was not a sign of separation of a
daughter from her father, but, it was a sign of protesting to the oppressions
imposed on the family, protesting to her separation from state policies, abusing
her divine rights, protesting to the disharmony and divisiveness of the religion
made by the sheikhs and their innovations in Islam.
Her defending her husband,
her standing against the attackers to make Ali (p.b.u.h.) agree with them, her
tolerating the stroke of Mesmar14
on her chest and side, her
tolerating the pains on her body and her soul after prophet died and her
waiting, were reasons for her respecting the principles of Imamate and her
respecting the fact that there was nothing more important than defending the
religion and standing against oppression and making attempts for protection of
the religion and erection of justice.
Patience of Hazrat Zahra (p.b.u.h.),
was not due to her losing the father,
but it was the pains of Imamate and
prophecy and divisiveness in the religion and attacking to the bases of Islam.
If the master of ladies of both worlds had not protested this way, her children
would not tolerate so much tortures to keep the religion, to establish it, to
order the goodness and to prohibit the people to do evils, to fight with
injustice, to struggle for establishment of justice, and they would not bear the
tricks, the threats, the wars, the tortures and martyrdom and bondage.
The last point which
should be mentioned considering the effective and educational role of Hazrat
Zahra (p.b.u.h.) among the innocent family of prophet, was the attention of
Hazrat Zahra to her husband and her children, before she was martyred and her
suggestions to others, before she died.
Daughter of God’s prophet
(p.b.u.h.) dreamed her father who promised to her she would join him. She got
up, cleaned herself and her children and washed her self to be ready for
martyrdom. Maybe, she wanted to clean the bloods and scars on her body, so that
after she died, her clothes and her injured body would not bother the sensitive
soul of Imam Ali (p.b.u.h.) and then she prepared her will.
Firstly, she asked Imam to
marry after she died, so that she would not stay alone. Then she introduced for
her children a kind mother. She was Amameh, the cosin of her children. Then,
asked him to keep concealed her shrouding, praying for her, her burial and her
grave from those who had not fulfilled suggestions of prophet (p.b.u.h.) and had
betrayed the testimony of prophet and the rank of imamate. She said that all her
acts and speeches and suggestions were for defense of family of Imamate and
warning for protection of health of body and soul and respect of children of
prophet of God (p.b.u.h.).
Her testimony reflects her
protest to those who tortured her and bothered the ranks of prophet and Imamate.
All the movements of Hazrat Zahra (p.b.u.h.) specially in the last night of her
life, serve as educations for her children and if she was not paying attention
to her children’s education in this way, Zeynab Kobra would not emphasize so
much on accompanying Hossein ibn Ali in all the stages of her life, so much and
then all the children of prophet would not respect Imamate and would not defend
the family and would not tolerate so much oppressions, jails, martyrs,
loneliness.
They made all the
education effects of presence of the lady of both worlds on this family and on
the whole Muslims of the world. They make a great lesson for all the world’s
ladies, all the Muslims of the world and all the human beings on the earth.
Though we are not able to
express all the effects of the behaviors and moral speeches of Sedigheh Tahereh
(p.b.u.h.), but, we have made their best to express a small part of such
spiritual effects.
We wish, the present brief
text is confirmed by Almighty God and accepted by Sedigheh lady of both worlds
and her great son, Saheb Alzaman (May Almighty God Hasten in His Coming).
