Imam Sadegh
(peace be upon him) stated: “It
is not worthy if a faithful man dies while he has not learned Quran,
or if he is not learning Quran”.
Man enjoys the
grant to read Quran when he observes the speaker in its words, and
meets the owner of speech in the text. Imam Sadegh (p.b.u.h.)
prescribes in this respect: “Almighty
God emerged to His creatures in His words and his book, but they do
not see God, but only they hear some words and utter something.”
Imam Sadegh
(p.b.u.h.) was repeating some of the verses of Quran such as “God,
we worship You” and “You
are the Owner of the Day of Punishment”
and prescribed:
I repeated the words, so much so that I was hearing it from the
teller, as if I am hearing it from Almighty God”.
It has been
narrated that Imam (p.b.u.h.) stated: “If
someone understands Quran and observes its instructions, he will take
a divine travel accompanied by the pious ones.”
The dignity
having mentioned for Holy Quran shows that one who understands inside
the Quran, and observes its contents, will be placed in the line of
the faithful men, the martyrs, and the pious men. There are many lines
in the day of pandemonium, the line of pious, the line of righteous,
the line of martyrs, the line of honest, God worshipers, etc. A bright
man having a bright face passes the line. Each line, he passes, the
people in the line say: Oh! We know him well. He is one of us. But he
passes all of them.
It has been
narrated from Imam Sadegh (p.b.u.h.) who has narrated from Prophet of
God (p.b.u.h.):
Those who carry Quran, have known faces and are known to those who
enter paradise. For the people of paradise, such faces are known. If
it is difficult for someone to learn Quran, if he tolerates the
difficulty and learns Quran, he will gain multiple awards.
One for whom it is easy to learn and to memorize Quran, will gain one
award, and one for whom it is difficult, but he tolerates and learns
it, he will gain more.
It has been
narrated from sixth Imam that Quran is a divine treaty towards His
creatures. It is worthy if man takes a look at the treaty of God and
reads at least 50 verses throughout the day and night. Because, taking
a look at Quran is a worship too. Taking a look at Quran words is also
worship. This book is not like the others, so that if its meaning is
not known, it is not enjoyable. Since, Quran is the words of God, if
someone does not know the meaning, but, he will gain awards by reading
it. He shall make attempts to learn the meaning and to find the
culture,
but it is also a light, to read Quran.
Just
as sun and moon gives light to the life of human beings both at night
and in the day, Quran will give light to the men at night and day and
shall never be shabby.
