CONGRATULATIONS ON THE OCCASION OF BIRTHDAY OF IMAM HOSSEIN (P.B.U.H)

Hazrat Aba Abdollah (p.b.u.h.) was told: “Abouzar had said: poverty and insolvency are preferred for me than being self-contained and disease and patience are kinder to me than health.”

Imam Hossein (p.b.u.h.) prescribed: “May Almighty God grace Abouzar! But I say whoever relies on well selection of God for himself, shall have no need but what Almighty God has considered for him, and shall seek nothing else.1

Before the creatures are created, when there was no time and place, no phenomenon of the world of creation, the mighty creator of the world created the highest and the first phenomenon of the world of being, the light of existence of prophet (p.b.u.h.), and out of that sacred light, he created the lights of existence of Ali (p.b.u.h.), Fatemeh (p.b.u.h.), Hassan (p.b.u.h.) and Hossein (p.b.u.h.) and for them He considered the different places and different worlds.

Some of the narrations show that God firstly crated the light of prophet (p.b.u.h.) and then, He creates some lights in different shapes in the Paradise and taking some stages, finally He transferred them through Adam and Eve to respectful parents of prophet (p.b.u.h.), Abdollah and Ameneh. Then He considered for them the different ranks such as forehead of heaven, eminent of heaven, bottom of heaven, surrounding of heaven, and He regarded for each rank a specified term and deadline.

One of the specifications of light of being of Mohammad (p.b.u.h.) was that through the different stages of its transfer through ancestors of the prophet (p.b.u.h.), it was manifested by a special brightness on their foreheads and was transferred gradually from one generation to another 2 and since they were the only conveyor and means of transfer of such a light and were not of that kind themselves, by transfer of light to another generation, the effect disappeared from his face and forehead too.

But, in existence of sacred daughter of prophet (p.b.u.h.) for the reason that the lady was created out of the same kind of light, she had not the same emergence, but it had put a special effect on the face of Hazrat Fatemeh (p.b.u.h.) as prophet (p.b.u.h.) had prescribed: “My daughter! I see on your forehead a special brightness and light which reflects that you will give birth soon to the contention of God to His creatures.3

Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (p.b.u.h.) prescribed in this regard: “When I was conveying the light of being of Hossein (p.b.u.h.) I needed no lamp in the dark nights, because to any direction I was looking, it would be lighted”.4

The light of being of Hazrat Aba Abdollah (p.b.u.h.) rose in the world with all its higher human values and virtues and began to throw rays. Since, there is no opportunity to draw all the moral characteristics and values of that Imam, we only mention some samples of his distinguished personality.

Investigating the helpless people and respecting their dignity, Hazrat Aba Abdollah Hossein (p.b.u.h.) showed admirable particulars when helping and solving their problems.

One day, some needy person referred to his home and received 1000 dinars which he demanded and began to count it. The accountant of Imam asked him wonderfully: “Have you sold to us something, for which reason you count the amount so carefully?” The needy man replied: “Yes! I have sold my honor and prestige.” Imam Hossein (p.b.u.h.) prescribed: “He is right” then he granted to him another 3000 dinars out of his own properties and prescribed: “the first 1000 dinars was for your demand, the second 1000 dinars was for your dignity, and the third 1000 dinars was for the reason that you came to us to remove your problem.

One of the distinguished characteristic of Imam was his fearing God and comprehending divine enormity, so that at the time of his ablution for praying and for approaching God, the color of his face would alter and his organs would tremble. Some people asked about his fear and Imam Hossein (p.b.u.h.) prescribed: “On the day of resurrection only those people shall be secure who fear God in this world.5

Yes! In performance of the highest prayers, he trembles of God, while we commit the worst and the ugliest sins and do not fear at all.

God has praised Imam Hossein (p.b.u.h.) in Holy Koran in different ways: For example, He considers Imam Hossein as a complete and comprehensive instance of soul which is at peace with God 6, a great share of His Grace 7, the evident instance and Master of Martyrs, and those who were drown in their blood8, the great slaughter 9, the secret and the soul of truth KHYES 10,  and has named him with the sacred and worthy names such as FAJR11, ZAYTOON 12, MARJAN,… 13.

Further, God has called him in sanctum narrations with great enormity like the long narration, in a part of which He by greeting him and sending to him graces and charities, calls him as the Light of God’s saints, contention to the bondmen and the reserve for saving the guilty.

Indeed, Hossein (p.b.u.h.) is a lighted torch for guidance and a saving vessel and it is under the sacred rays of Hossein (p.b.u.h.) which Hazrat Seyed Alsajedin (p.b.u.h.) the embellishment of the prayerful and Abalfazl Abbas (p.b.u.h.) he shall provide all the needs. It is a sacred bound the days when three sacred light were born in the month of prophet (p.b.u.h.) when they come following each other and annunciates prosperity and grace.
