Since , faith is one of the best issues and affairs of the life and in today's world , paying attention to science and technology , avoids the people to perform spiritual affairs , necessity for revision of this important fact is felt. Since , the advent of Islam , the reality of faith was considered by Moslems after being negotiated and different view-points were presented and different questions were propounded considering the fact if acknowledgement will be a sign of faith. If faith is action ? What is attainment of faith ?

A SPEECH CONCERNING FAITH :

Faith has a deep and expanded definition. Faith will penetrate from language to the depths of soul and will have deep impacts on soul of man. Faith is believing in the origin and in resurrection which have gained by us and is the same as performance of God's instructions. Complete faith is with someone who believes from bottom of his heart that this world is not a useless creation and this world has an arbitrator , who is sighted and is a listener and sees and hears all our behaviors and acts. This witness is a governor himself. In sura of Hajarat , Verse 14 , it has been mentioned : " The Arabs will say they have been faithful , reply them they have not been faithful , but say : We have converted to Islam but faith has not yet penetrated into your hearts." God tells the prophet in this Verse : tell those who call themselves faithful , they are Moslems not Faithful people , because a faithful person is some one who observes whatever has mentioned in the religion.

Once , a man asked Imam Sadegh (p.b.u.h.) Oh! You the knowledgeable man , tell me which act is more liked by God ? Imam (p.b.u.h.) prescribed : " this is the act , without witch the other's acts are not acceptable." The man asked : " what is the act ?" Imam (p.b.u.h.) replied : " Being faithful to the unique God except whom there is no other God." This act has the highest rank of all and has the best graces and is the most important of all. I asked : Is faith only utterance of the Islamic formula. Imam answered : " the whole faith is in justice and utterance of Islamic formula is a type justice fulfilled by the tongue and God has made it compulsory." I asked : please describe it to me , so that I would understand it. Imam prescribed : " faith has different stage , it can be very low and can very high." I asked if faith can be completed ? Imam answered : Yes. The proper characteristics won't be strengthened.

imam (p.b.u.h) stated : “ almighty God made essential observation of all the elements of man’s body , the faith . duty of heart is to be faithful to God as the only creator and prophet, Hazrat Mohammad ( p.b.u.h) as God’s messenger and his divine book, Quran .

faith of ear is to be far from whatever God has prohibited its being heard ( for example : it should be far from hearing gossips ) and eyes shall be closed to what God has prohibited (for example not to look at those people who are not among one’s relatives).

Faith of hand is to pay charitable gifts and to visit the relatives and to perform jihad in the path towards God and to make ablution for praying. Faith of feet is to take steps in the path towards God and not to seek sin and perform jihad. The real welfare of man is fulfilled when faith comprises acknowledgement with tongue and heart and action.

Almighty God has made faith obligatory for all the organs of man and has disturbed it among them. There is no organ , except that it is obliged to be faithful to what the other organs are not. So , whoever visits God , as he has preserved himself and has made each of his organs fulfill a duty , has visited God by a completed faith and will be an inhabitants of paradise. Whoever has betrayed in one of them , or violates the limits God has determined , will meet God when their faith is imperfect. Amiralmomenin (p.b.u.h) states: “ faith relies on knowledge of heart , acknowledgement of tongue , taking action by organs.”

REALITY OF FAITH : 

when faith of man increases to reach the attainment , so that he can comprehend rank of his creator and in fact know himself and find out that the whole affairs are in the hands of God and he is the only creator to whom all the creature return , this time , he feels compulsory to rely on God and to follow him and consider him as his principal in all his affairs and be satisfied with whatever he might consider as his destiny and take action according to the circumstances and decrees and observe whatever he has prohibited him to do or whatever he has ordered him. In this stage , man looks towards bondage and worships his God with purity. Furthermore , he will looks at society and will meet all the needs of the people and will compensate the defects and will grant to the others out of his properties and science etc. God has granted to him. Imam sadegh  (p.b.u.h) stated : “ whoever will love for God’s sake and will feel foe for God’s sake and will grant for God’s sake , enjoys a complete faith.

Almighty God will bestow to the faithful people against acceptance of his invitation and observation of his faith , much rewards and will grant to the creature , his nearness. Tabarani has narrated from Hares Ibn malek ansari who was passing holy prophet once. Hazrat asked him : “ how are you ? “ he answered : “ I have become a real faithful man.” Prophet stated : “ first think , then talk. There is a reality for everything. What is the reality of your faith ? “ he said : I don’t like the world anymore. I worship all the night and I am on fast all the day and it seems that I see the inhabitants of hell who morn and shout.” Prophet repeated three times : “ Hares you have known the reality of faith , so do not lose it ! “

God has invited the people to a competition , whoever makes efforts will enjoy the grants of his God to the same extent.

Sure: Hadid , verse: 21reads: “ go towards the salvation on the part of your God and towards the paradise which is wide as the skies and the earth having been prepared for those who are faithful to God and his prophet.”

To win the competition , we need many tools , one of which is the duty we have to bear and all the parts of body shall be liable for as it was previously stated. All the parts of body are responsible and whoever wishes to gain the utmost of faith , shall fulfill his duties correctly and shall prove his bondage to God.

May almighty God respects Mohammad and those who believe in him and help us reach the utmost faith.
