Part 1
Taking into consideration the different dimensions of science , anthropology is
the most important branch of science on which many scientists and men of thought
make researches and studies. In this science , reply to the following questions
are sought.
Who is man indeed ? which dimensions and elements does he constitute and what
has been the goal of his creation ? to reply this question , we should firstly
mean anthropology.
In
fact , if the story of creation is mentioned at the divine books , is true , why
do the men intend to make much misconduct ? what is the reality of man ? are we
aware of our animal instincts , satanic rascal characteristics and the divine
virtuous properties ? do we know the extent of goodness and badness of our
conducts ? have we ever thought about the similarities of some men with the
animals considering their properties ? are we aware of our fury , wrath , lust ,
and instinctual desires ? if we accept the fact that ALMIGHTY GOD , metaphysics
, the world after death , resurrection , existence of the prophets for mans
guidance are all true , so , why do we forget them in our lives , and seek the
error and guilt ? and many other questions
To
reply the above _ mentioned questions , we should commence with narration of
prophet of Islam when he prescribes : until we are not aware of our soul and
self , we will not be able to know God. The only way to attain God and to know
God is to know Oneself.
Furthermore , God prescribed in the sacred verse No.53 of Mobarakeh sura : we
will soon reveal to them the evidences of our complete power in the world and in
their ownselves so that it is revealed to them that he is really the God.
Thus , to gain the real knowledge of God , we should firstly know ourselves and
when we reach the comprehension , we will eagerly seek the attainments and will
go for morality and purgation of our soul.
According to the verses and narrations , man is made of outer and inner parts.
The body is the same as outer part of man and soul is an inner dimension. When
we enjoy eating , disturbing , taking revenge , being kind or when we are
hateful , we have both paid attention to our body and our soul , so , soul does
not just belong to the inner part , but it has some relationship with body of
man and his appearance. Soul has four dimensions and layers.

we
will speak about the four aspects in next parts , but self knowledge , an affair
which will let us reach the knowledge , is knowledge of God and his creation.
According to Quran verses when God resolved to create man , the angles protested
that the men will have no mercy and will kill each other and will make
bloodshed , and wont observe justice. God answered : I know what you do not.
and it was the secret of creation. God whispered in the ears of man , the
secrets and blew in him of his existence and soul, and gave him a divine
aspect. God created man to succeed him on the earth and to fulfill such a
responsibility he used the divine blow and the God Seeking Nature is the same
dimension of the divine blow. If due to his God Seeking Nature , man seeks the
secret of creation and sets aside the affairs like what to eat , where to sleep
, how to make his appearance and body , how his child can get 20 instead of
paying attention to his ethics , then he will go for attainment and goodness.
This way , he has enjoyed in fact the will and power , the other dimensions of
divine blow and has found the way of guidance. Besides what has been mentioned ,
God gave to man , wisdom and conscience , to recognize the good from the bad.
Despite all the possibilities , he sent 124000 prophets to always guide man on
the earth , so that man is not cheated by Satan. The first man , Adam , was a
prophet himself and Hazrat Mahdi ( peace be upon him ) is the pure descendent of
Hazrat Mohammad ( peace be upon him and his progeny ) is that last guider who is
now absent.
So
, prosperity and depravity of man depends on his will. If we know our selves ,
we will be able to find the path of guidance to reach the aim of creation. Thus
, we shall make efforts , think , and study ourselves so that we are able to
take action and to be prosperous.
