WE CONGRATULATE TO ALL
THE PEOPLE WAITING FOR HIS ADVENT THE SACRED BIRTHDAY OF THE UNIQUE SAVIOR OF
HUMANITY HAZRAT MAHDI (May Almighty God Hasten His Advent)
The
sunlight of existence of Imam Zaman (May God Hasten His Advent) in the sky of
humanity on half of the Month: Shaban, 255th year (lunar calendar)
was thrown on the people of the world.
Life of
the 12th Imam is divided into three eras. 1st Period: as
of his birth until martyrdom of his great father (the year: 255-260 lunar
calendar) during which many followers of Imams met him and heard his preaches.
2nd Period: Short Absence (as of 260 to 330 lunar calendar) during
which all the public people were deprived of meeting him and only the special
people had relationships with him at the peak of whom there were the four
attorneys of Imam. 3rd Period: The Long Absence (as of 330 which
will continue till God orders for his advent.
WAITING PERIOD:
Sheikh Sadoogh narrates from Abdolazim Hassani that:
“I met
one day my lord, Mohammad son of Ali, Javad Alaemeh (peace be upon him). I
wanted to ask him about Mahdi (p.b.u.h.) then he himself commenced speaking
and said: “
“Oh!
Abolghasem! Indeed the one who shall come is one of us. He is Mahdi in whose
absence we shall wait for him until he emerges.”
Just as
it has been mentioned in the above narration, waiting for One Who Shall Come
makes a definite principle of Shiite Faith. An important principle which
causes an ethical and spiritual alteration in addition to alteration of
beliefs.
Waiting
for Advent of Hazrat has two forms: a destructive waiting and a constructive
waiting.
Destructive Waiting:
Some people expect the final revolution with an explosive nature having
arisen out of expansion and prevailing of the outrage, injustice,
discrepancies, chokes, dirt, a type of organization caused by being disordered
at a time the evil reaches the peak.
In this
definition, hope is expected in mind, without revealing its impacts on the
society, lacking any promotion, any advancement.
Constructive Waiting:
It has been narrated: “One who waits serves as one who fights with the enemies
for the prophet and resides at the canvas of Imam of the time. 1
Such
narrations reveal the fact that one who waits, in a constructive waiting, has
a presence full of efforts and is ready at all dimensions and aspects and
fields. He shall always avoid stagnation. He always considers obtaining
knowledge of his Imam as the title of his works and counts the moments for his
advent.
Specifications of the followers of Hazrat Mahdi:
In verse:
54 of Sura: Maedeh it has been mentioned:
“Oh!
Though who are faithful, who ever leaves Islam, God will in future bring a
group enjoying the following specifications: 1. God likes them and they like
God, 2. Act humbly against the faithful men, 3. stay strongly against the
enemies and polytheists, 4. make jihad continuously in the God’s path, 5.
don’t fear any accusation in path they fulfill their duties.
Imam
Sadegh (p.b.u.h.) stated:
“The holder of the Instruction (Hazrat Mahdi (p.b.u.h.) is supported under the
rays of the same verse (supported by the followers, whose characteristics the
verse describes)”
it means that profiting from such pious, faithful, resistant followers, he
fights relying on God.
We hope
that God will let us enjoy living at that era being accompanied by Imam of the
Time (p.b.u.h.).
