Congratulations on sacred birthday of Imam Javad (peace be upon him)

Kalim ibn Omran states: I told to Imam Reza (p.b.u.h.) “ Pray God to grant to you a child.” Imam replied: “God will only grace to me one son who shall be my heir and shall be Imam after me.”

When Hazrat Javad (p.b.u.h.) was born, Imam Reza (p.b.u.h.) prescribed to his friends “A son was born to me who is like Moses ibn Omran who opened the seas and like Jesus ibn Maryam, who had a sacred mother. He has a sacred and pious mother too. ¹

Imam Javad (p.b.u.h.) was born on 10^th day of month: Rajab, year: 195 of Lunar calendar. His names and titles comprises the followings: MOHAMMAD, TAGHI, JAVAD, ABOU JAFAR, MOKHTAR, MONTAKHAB, MORTEZA, GHANE, ELM, his mother was named Sabikeh and Imam Reza (p.b.u.h.) was calling her: Kheyzaran and Reyhaneh. Her ancestor was Marieh Ghabiteh, wife of the holy prophet (p.b.u.h.) and was in morals, she was one of the highest women at her own era. It has been narrated that holy prophet (p.b.u.h.) had called Marieh: “The best handmaiden.²

Hakimeh, Imam Reza’s sister stated: “When Hazrat Javad (p.b.u.h.) was born, my brother asked me to stay with Kheyzaran. It was just the 3^rd day of birthday of Hazrat Javad (p.b.u.h.) when I witnessed that he opened his eyes and looked left side and right side and said: “I witness that There is no God but Allah and I witness that Mohammad is the prophet of Allah.” ³

“Having seen such a scene I was excited and went to my brother and told him about what I had seen. Imam Reza (p.b.u.h.) prescribed: “Hakimeh! You will witness much more wonderful facts from now on.”⁴

It has been narrated that when the child was given to Imam Reza (p.b.u.h.), He stated: “This is a child who is sacred and blessed for Shiite and no more blessed child will be born to Shiite. ⁵

After martyrdom of his great father in Rasoul Akram Mosque (p.b.u.h.), Imam Javad (p.b.u.h.) took the pulpit and spoke: “I am Mohammad son of Ali Alreza, I am Javad Alaemeh, I am aware of what is in loins of the people. I am familiar with your appearance and with your secrets. Almighty God has granted to me the knowledge of the first and the last. If there were not disagreements of the nullified and government of those astray, I would tell you about what would make you wonder. At this time, Imam (p.b.u.h.) put his hand on his mouth and called himself and said: Oh! Mohammad Keep Silent! Close your lips, just as your fathers did. ⁶

Zakarya ibn Adam states: One I was with Imam Reza (p.b.u.h.). He was 40 years old. I witnessed that he put his hand on the land, and took his head up towards the sky and beholded. Hazrat Reza (p.b.u.h.) prescribed: I may consecrate my soul to you, why do you think so much? He replied: “I am thinking about what they did with my mother, Fatemeh (p.b.u.h.). I take oath to God I will take them out of their graces and will fire them and will put on the sea their ashes. Imam Reza embraced him and kissed his eyes and prescribed: “May my parents be consecrated to you. You deserve being Imam. ⁷
