It should be explained that the sentence: Only the faithful people are brothers, in the sacred verse, establishes a law among the Moslems who are faithful to God and creates a relationship which did not exist before and this is the relationship of brotherhood with its religious and legal effects.

 Meaning of Brotherhood might be both natural and credit. In Islam credit brotherhood is a relationship between two persons.

 Imam Sadegh (p.b.u.h.) prescribed: “A pious man is the brother of the other pious man and serves as his eyes and his guide. He never betrays his brother and never oppresses. He never cheats  and shall not violate his promises to him.

 Amir Almomenin Ali (p.b.u.h.), prescribed: “Brothers are of two types: the real and trusting brothers and the apparent brothers, but the brothers trusting to each other serve as hands and wings and properties of the man; so whenever you find such a brother, sacrifice your properties and assets for him and help him and be friend of whomever he is a friend of and be foe of whomever he is a foe. Cover his secret and hide his defects and reveal his goodness and be sure that such a friend is more rare than an Kebrit Ahmar. But the brothers in appearance, make profits from them and use them. In this way, do not cut your relationship and your friendship with them, but do not expect more of their inner side and their true characteristics. Against sweetness of their speech and good behavior, reflect your good behavior and sweet talks,” then he continues: “the brotherly relations will stay and continue by fairness and just behavior”.

 Imam Sajjad (p.b.u.h.) prescribed: “Almighty God will forgive every sin, committed by a pious man and will remove it in the day of pandemonium, except considering two sins: leaving prevaricate when it is necessary and spoiling the rights of religious brothers.”

 Imam Sajjad (p.b.u.h.) has prescribed about the rights of brothers in his discourse on the rights of brother: “But, the right of your brother is that you should be aware of the fact that he is like your hand by which you work and on whom you rely and he is your glory to whom you trust and he is your strength by which you attack the enemy. Do not use him as weapon to disobey God and do not enjoy him as a means of oppressing the creatures of God and be a friend of him and assist him against his enemies. Create a distance to make him get rid of Satan and accept his suggestions and admonition and look at him for satisfaction of God. If he is obedient of God, accept him and serve him well, otherwise, only prioritize God and obey God.
