IN THE NAME OF GOD
Honorable prophet , Hazrat Mohammad Mostafa (peace be upon him & his
progeny) was born in month : Rabiol Aval, year of Amo-l Fil , 570 A.D.
Simultaneous with his birthday , like the previous prophets (Moses & Christ)
strange events took place throughout the world. For example , water of
Saveh Lake dried ,
fire of Fars Fire Temple was extinguished after 1000 years , 14 coils of
Kasra palace collapsed and the idols at idol house of Mecca fell down ,….
This way , the last divine prophet , having a great commission for
ending the prophecy and establishing a world eternal religion , came to the
world.
Since , it is certain that Islam is the last religion and the honorable
prophet of Islam is the last prophet , it will be necessary to study the reasons
for end of prophecy for a deeper understanding of these two principles.
The first reason : Almighty God has prescribed in Sura : Ahzab , Verse :
40 that :
" Mohammad is not the father of any of you , but he has been
commissioned by God and is going to end the prophecy." For its spiritual
structure in Arabic language , the word : "The Last Prophet" means something by
which the other thing is ended , this verse has officially called Hazrat
Mohammad (p.b.u.h.) as finisher of prophecy.
The second reason : Sura : Hijr , Verse : 9 reads : " we sent Quran
ourselves and will take care of it. " On of the reasons for extension of mission
and emergence of the new prophets , is the alteration of sacred books of the
previous prophets and the next prophets restore the traditions which are
forgotten and will improve the altered teachings of the previous prophets.
The aforesaid verse mentions cancellation of the most important reason
for extension of mission and prophecy since Quran was sent.
The third reason : from viewpoint of Quran , religion is not more than
one from the beginning to the end of the world and all the prophets have invited
the men to a religion.
" the religion God considered for you Moslems contain realities and
decrees , Noah has also suggested. We sent the same to you and recommended it to
Abram , Moses and Christ to propagate religion of God and never make differences
in the religion. When you invited the pagan to the religion of God , they
consider it too great an act. God will call himself , those who pray at his
door. (Sura : Shora , Verse : 13).
The difference of regulations presented by the prophets was due to level
of growth of knowledge and awareness and thought and spirituality of human
beings. In fact , religion as a call of nature , is unique , thus , the
complementary path of world , man and society is a guided aimed path ,
recognized regarding origin and destination and rout. Though , man and society
are altering , but the path is unit.
By explaining that the path of man is a recognized and direct path1
and all the prophets with all the differences at guiding the human being , Quran
, guides all to a direct destination and explains termination of prophecy.
Because , just as man is altering , his origin and destination also change.
Termination of prophecy means receipt of total plan.
Mission of prophet of Islam
(p.b.u.h.) is different with all the other missions being of the type of law not
the plan. Quran is a book which contains the spirit and the content of all the
temporary and limited teachings of the other divine books.
" And we sent to you this great book (Quran) to confirm correctness of
the book against it and in fact it certifies the previous divine books. So , you
can judge among them to what God has ordered. As a result of following their
desires , do not disregard the righteous decree which has been sent to you. We
determined for each tribe a religion and a way and if God wished upon his divine
will , he would consider all of them as a nation , but He did not do it so that
He would test you with the writs mentioned at Book , so you are requested to
outmatch in taking good acts.
You all will go back to God and He will make you aware of what you have
some difference in. (Sura : Maedeh , Verse :48)
Islam has announced in elaboration of the rules , respect of nature and
the same fact make the Islamic regulations eternal. From the specifications of
Islam the followings can be named : Acceptance and entrance of wisdom in the
scope of religion , comprehensibility of different issues , presentation of
fixed rules for the permanent needs and prediction of altering situation for the
irresistible status of man , empowering Islamic authority , to put regulations
taking into consideration the fundament principles of Islam , not having
considered before , ….
Bernard Shaw , the English Writer states about Islam : " It seems that
the global problems will never be solved , except through Islam and salvation of
man shall be impossible except through the religion of Mohammad. And my
prediction shall be remembered that Islam will be the only religion of the world
and will changed to a global faith.
