Man should study himself to see what will frighten him or from what
does he escape? Just as Imam Ali (p.b.u.h.) stated: “Enter whatever
will make you frightened.”

Man should know that by being defeated he will make experience and
the defeated men are more experienced.

Man should know that great men are in the middle of the problems and
have fought with great problems. If one studies the biographies of
the great men, they will gain the same conclusion.

He shall make effort to look at the filled half of the glass and
should be optimist. He shall consider each stage as a step for a
growth and each defeat as a victory, to close whatever he fears of
and to approach whatever he escapes of as an obstacle to be removed.

He shall take a look at the strong points of morals, particulars,
actions to consider it as a factor for his success. He shall trust
his capabilities to know himself better and to know that thinking
about himself and his strong and weak points and their
identification are among the duties of man.

He shall make efforts to give opportunities to one who has
weaknesses to test his own capabilities. In this way, if he feels
problems, he will think carefully about the same problems in other’s
behaviors. For instance, a man will find many problems when he cooks
and is not able to regulate the taste of food. For the same reason,
he has a weakness. To strengthen his soul, he shall be aware that it
is not his fault and even a person who has been cooking for several
years, might have a problem so he should not be worried. He should
be encouraged to continue cooking, so that he is quite expert in
this art. this will strengthen him and he will not consider that
only he has problems.

One who has weaknesses should rely on “me”.

Using first person as “I” and the verbs ending to the same proverb
such as: I can, I want, will help strengthening the soul.

Using adverbs such as “certainly”, “surely”, “completely”, “100”,
will be effective in strengthening one’s soul.

Trying to give negative answers to others and not accepting all the
offers will be effective in strengthening of “I”. in other words it
is very effective not to follow others.

Such a person always tries to consult with others, but he will make
the final decision himself, even if he knows that he will have
problems in making the decision.

He should be always a candid and be placed in the first line when he
does something.

He shall not forget the offers and criticisms of others.
-
It is very effective not to fear others and to dare taking actions.

If some one is fearful, he should not show his fear and should be
cautious instead, because this will strengthen man.

When one walks, it is very effective to take strong firm steps, to
keep right the spinal cord, to look straight ahead, into eyes of
men, to have peaceful looks, to observe the same method in sitting.

When one speaks with the people, it will be effective to speak
slowly and firmly and to look into others eyes.
-
It is effective to avoid kidding and it will strengthen one’s public
relations.
-
Thinking before speaking will keep man safe of being regretful.

One should not fear having many friends.
-
It is useful to use short sentences when speaking.
-
One should say his word just once, not to repeat it.
-
One should get used to it to take action upon each decision he
makes.
-
It is very important to express to others one’s activities,
advances, philanthropies, and good acts.
-
One should know that God is the greatest support and one should not
trust anyone but Him and should not ask anyone, but Him.

One should let himself and others to express his ideas.
-
One should do his affairs lonely, to any expense.
