Affection is an introduction to love and these two dimensions are two non-materialistic dimensions of man’s existence. Though, the factors creating affection, signs, impacts, instruments of affection are among materialistic dimensions of man, but affection itself is not material. Public call it heart. For instance, a sign of affection to one is a smile on one’s lips (the material dimension) but affection itself can not be reflected. Or the factor of affection is a behavior coming from the beloved and this is a tangible behavior, but affection itself can not be included in any material criterion. It might be understood by heart, but its apparent comprehension is not included in material criteria.

Some of the people believe that affection can be imagined in one’s mind. But the writer will not find a convincing reason for this theory. Affection is an inner eagerness commencing from material aspects and non-material spirit and will prevail the whole existence. Its impacts will affect on material dimensions and organs.

Affection is strengthened in two ways:

1. The proper reply of the beloved to the lover.

This can be in two ways:

A. The beloved resists against the lover, but does it delicately so that she will increase the flame of passion in his heart.

B. The beloved obeys the lover and gives positive response to him and tries to treat him with passion so that his flame of affection is not decreased. For instance, she will coordinate with him or she expresses passion in her turn.

2. Paying attention to the presumptions and imaginations which will increase the beauty of beloved to the lover.

A lover who will try throughout his life to reach the beloved and considers in his mind the moments passing with his beloved, who educates himself to find the qualification and deservedness to be with his beloved, who thinks about joining his beloved and considers his prosperity in being with the beloved, will increase his eagerness.

A heart which is empty of other beloveds and is only considering a special beloved, will be heart apt to jointing the beloved. So it shall follow up a unit goal and should request a unit beloved.
